Running Windows XP in the Win 95 Compatibility Mode

I recently bought software for a windows xp based system
which requires me to run xp in the win 95 compatability
mode. I have not been able to find any reference to this
in the Microsoft documentation. Is anyone reading this
familiar with this feature?

Open XP's "Help and Support" and type: OLDER PROGRAMS , and hit enter.
