There are some vendors out there who can autorun flash drives. I believe
they are partitioned. I haven't ever used them because they need your files
way ahead of time, and my clients very rarely give me that luxury.
Autorun wasn't really the issue, I just wanted to be able to run a
slide show from a flash drive. An earlier poster said Viewer did not
require installation, but the version I downloaded did, and insisted
on installing itself in the Program Files directory. I couldn't see
any way to install it on a flash drive and, from what I know of
Windows, I would not expect to be able to simply copy installed
programs and have them work. As it turns out, that's exactly what you
do, and it works fine from the flash drive.
