Running total on a report

Hi
I have an inventory report by product showing qty received and qty
shipped..useing 2 tables qty rec and qty shipped...I have the report grouped
by product & rack...a product/rack may have multiple shipments against
it..how do i code the report so that the receipt of the product/rack only
accumaltes once, it now accumlates for each shipment against it...example
prod 123 rack A has a qty rec of 12...it has 2 shipments one for 2 and
another for 3 ...I want to show total rec qty of 12 and total ship qty of
5...what I am getting is a total rec of 24

Typically you would create a union query of received and shipped. Quite often
these will be stored in the same table with a + or - quantity for received or
shipped.
