Running theme hospital on xp

hi i have one of the origninal versions of theme hospital (which includes a
DOS installler and a WIN 95 installer). The game ran fine on my XP machine
untill i reinstalled windows and updated to SP2. Now when i go and install
the game it brings up a error messege reading something along the lines of

this file is not suitable for running in xp
click OK to terminate

i was wondering if i used the compatibiltiy program to try and acess the 95
installer would it work?
