Running sysprep and enumerating pnp driver

Glenn M

In microsoft documentation it says you can create a base image of an
o/s and then use sysprep in factory mode with winbom.ini to add pnp
drivers.

My question is can i use a standard base image for every computer i
need a final image for and then use sysprep in factory mode to add
drivers and apps ;or does this base image have to have virtually the
same HAL as the destination machine?

No your HAL doesn't have to be virtually the same....

There a numbers of ways to get to your end point.
Take a look at this.....

You can use the method outlined in the link for your driver
installation.

For you application install you could utilise the GuiRunOnce option
and create you applications install script based: on machine - user
group etc.
