Running SWF Files in Powerpoint 2003

On opening a Powerpoint presentation with an embedded SWF file I get the
message: "Some controls on this presentation can't be activated. They might
not be registered on this computer"

Needles to say the SWF will not run even though I have seen it run just fine
on a Powerpoint 2000 based PC.

Any ideas? Thanks John I

Thanks - I opened the Powerpoint presentation and created a new Flash Object
placeholder on the same page and then copied and paste the existing flash
object in to the placeholder and deleted the original Flash Object. This
seemed to do the trick. Don't know why it ran in PPT2000 though. Regards

It could be that the original Flash movie was inserted using the Swiffpoint
player, which needs to be installed on the playback machine to work
properly...?
