Running Schema Changes for 2000 AD migration to 2003

I'm running KB article 325379 in my test environment. Also following KB
article 314649 since I have an Exchange 2000 Server in my environment. Under
article 314649 I am running Scenario 2 and have successfully completed the
first 5 steps. On the step six running the actual ldifde command it starts to
load the file, but after running the first line of the ldf script I receive
the following:
Add error on line 1: Referral
The server side error is "A referral was returned from the server."

Any ideas?
THanks,

Ryan

Then you're probably passing a DC for a different partition to what is held
on the server.

Let's have a look at the first line of the .ldf file.

How many domains in the forest? Is this the root or not?

Hi Paul,

Very simple stucture - one domain one tree. The entire ldf file can be found
under step four of the KB article 314649. Microsoft seemed to make it simple,
all i had to was copy and paste into a notepad file. When running the command
line supplied in step 6 all i had to do was change the last two parameters
"dc=mydomain dc=com". Thanks for getting back to me and let me know what
other background info would help.
