Running Rules

Hi there

Is there a way of running a rule for the emails that are already there in a
particular folder, without affecting the new mails coming in? Say for
instance... if I need to move all the mails with the message header
containing "Sales" from one folder to a different folder, but don't want that
to affect the new mails coming in into the inbox.

Make the rule...run it on existing email in folders...turn the rule off
afterwards so it doesn't affect incoming mail.

Create the rule but do not enable it. Then use the "Run now" option in the
Rules Wizard.
