Running program that require Jave Virtual Machine to be loaded

The program wouldn't run in my Window XP, it keeps on
giving me the error="Java Virtual Machine" cannot be
loaded.

So I tried download the service pack (I've downloaded
quiet a few - SP1a... etc), and it's no help.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

JVM is not included in SP1a.

To verify your version, go to Start/Run and type in: wjview

MS JVM Version 3809

Once 3809 is installed you can get the Update 3810 - 816093 or use the link
above: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=816093

If this is not the issue:
Go to Start/Run and type in: regsvr32 msjava.dll

As the result of a lawsuit by Sun Microsystems, and the ensuing
settlement, Microsoft is no longer allowed to provide its own Java
Virtual Machine to Windows users. You can get almost the same
functionality by downloading Sun's version of Java from
http://java.sun.com/getjava/index.html. If you want the broader
capabilities of Microsoft's Java Virtual Machine, it is still
available from a lot of 3rd-party web sites, some of which are listed
here: http://www.java-virtual-machine.net/download.html.
