Is there an easy way to create a list of your running processes? I use
the clt-alt-delete function and can scroll and see all of them. But I
want to list them in excel or word so that I may keep notes on what
processes are, research on the net without constant toggling or typing,
I can't cut and paste from that box. Are there anyways to create such a
list without typing them?

Try using Start, Run, in the dialog box type: Services.msc
You will get a list of the running processes and their settings in Windows.
Under the Action menu, you will see an option to "Export list" and this will
allow you to save the list anywhere you like and print it. This website
gives a good explanation of all the processes and whether you need them
running, manual, or disabled:

follow any stated cautions)

Get this freeware program that has an option to save:
