Running out of resources

My client has a very large & complicated sheet and we have found the
breaking point, but need to find out how to get beyond it

Some Stats:
P4 2.53
1.5 GB of Ram
Spreadsheet size: over 111MB

Spreadsheet doesn't do massive amounts of mathematical calc's but does make
extensive use of the indirect and vlookup functions to reference cells
across the9 worksheets. The larget worksheet is using every column and
about 6000 rows. It appears that when the sheet hit a certain number of
cells it is running out of resouces on the paste

CPU usage is indicating 99 to 100%
Men usage 250 to 300K

How can we take advantage of the memory to avoid this if we can at all or
any other setting changes
