Running Office 2000 in a Win 2000 Domain

I am having a problem with MS Office 2000, I have installed Windows 2000 Professional on a local computer and it works OK with a standard user logged in.
The problem arises when I connect the computer to our Windows 2000 Domain. When a standard user logs in and attemps to run any office product I get the following message:-
"Error 1706, No valid source could be found for product Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1 Professional. Windows installer can't process.."
When I log in with an administrator id (local admin or domain admin) there is no problems.

Any help gratefully received as I am getting close to pulling all my hair out over this.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Check the permissions for the user, if it have permission
to install on the local computer it should work.
