Running Java

my task bar and the start menu become very very unstable
eg: blinking or closed by itself when i try to open.

This only happen when i open the java screen so as to
play the yahoo game.
But the screen will be back to normal once i closed the
java screen. The window task bar will become stable agin.

Is there any thing i can do abt this????

What kind of java do you have? Is it an icon on the task bar, or is it the
one right in the operating system.
