Running IIS

I upgraded to xpPro on one particular laptop and
installed the IIS component. All services appear to be
running but IIS does not appear to be operating. For
example if I even go to http://localhost, I get an
internal server error. The default web is started, the
username in Directory Security is IUSR_computername and
everthing appears fine.

I've never had a problem running IIS on any other machine
but certainly do on this one. Any help is appreciated.
