Running iexplore.exe from command line---- quick question!~

Hi quick question,
From the command line, what is the proper syntax to tell iexplore.exe

to launch a *new* window

iexplore.exe -new http://www.microsoft.com

Doesn't work...... is there a flag for that? I am using the command
line in a application, and it works, but if there are other IE explorer
browsers open, it commonders one of them when issuing that line
normally. Thank you for any expert advice! :)
