Running DCDIAG on domain controller

Matt

I am experiencing some strange problems in AD.
Specifically when I try to connect to a specific DC from
AD USers and Computers I get an error stating there
is "not enough storage space available to complete the
operation". I can duplicate this problem using one of my
admin accounts, but not the other. I ran DCDIAG on 2 of
my DC's and they both return the errors below. These are
not the only errors, but all of the other ones are almost
identical. Any suggestions?

Warning: DC01 is the Schema Owner, but is not responding
to DS RPC Bind.
Warning: DC01 is the Domain Owner, but is not
responding to DS RPC Bind.
[DC03] DsBind() failed with error 14,
Not enough storage is available to complete this
operation..
Warning: DC03 is the PDC Owner, but is not responding to
DS RPC Bind.
Warning: DC03 is the Rid Owner, but is not
responding to DS RPC Bind.
[DC06] DsBind() failed with error 14,
Not enough storage is available to complete this
operation..

Have you checked how much disk space you have left on the partition which
contains your ntds.dit & the edb files ?

I have ample disk space and memory available on all DC's.

Although this may not have anything to do with your
situation, I have found that the "Not Enough Disk Space"
error - eventhough you have Gigs and Gigs - is often
caused by a SP ( specifically SP1 and SP2 ). Simply
reinstalling that SP *often* resolved this issue. Mind
you, I have never seen this on a DC, just WIN2000 Pro
machines ( about 20 of them )...

Cary
