Hello,
I have a program that I run in the background on my
computer. It is a command line "DOS" program. The
program is designed that as long as its in different
directories on your computer, you can run as many
instances of the program as you want. I currently have it
on my hard drive twice, and run two instances of it at the
same time. I set up short cuts to the program, and put in
the options i need for the command line file. I currently
have it set to run minimized, becuase I want it to be
as "invisible" as possible. What I am looking to do now,
if possible, is to remove the program from the task bar.
I would like it to run, and instead of when its minimized,
still haveing a tab, or button(or what ever its
considered) on the task bar, to just "disappear" once its
minimized. Then to close the program, I would either have
to bring up the task manager, or use some other way of
restoring the window to close it. If anyone has any
suggestions, please let me know.

Thanks.

Use the Task Scheduler to run it under an account other
than your foreground account. This will make it completely
invisible. You can terminate it via the Task Manager.
