Running both 2003 and 2007 vers

I’m trying to run Access 2003 and 2007 on Vista. I installed Office 2003 into
a separate folder to Office 2007.

When I run Access 2003 and open a 2000 format Db, I’m getting an error
“object or class does not support the set of eventsâ€

Looking at the references I see that MS Access 12 Library is linked?? I
would guess I need the correct 11 DLL? If I rename MSACC.OLB thing run until
this library is needed, then obviously fails.

Is there a way to point Access 2003 at it’s correct DLL and still have
Access 2007 using it’s own version of the same file!

Allen - thank you for the help. I've tried the shortcut method with Admin
rights which fixes the referernces problem.

Am I going to have to put up with 2007 running it's "configuration progress"
dialog everytime I run a 2007 version after a 2003 session - I guess the
anser is yes.

Unfortunately, yes. We've ranted and railed about it: we'll have to see
whether it's fixed in a service pack, but they aren't actually holding out
that much hope for it.

You could always use Virtual PC sessions.
