running batch scripts from the task scheduler on win2k

I want to use the task scheduler to run batch scripts on scheduled
times. When I run the batch file manually, it works correctly. When it
is scheduled however, it doesn't seem to have any effect, and the task
scheduler displays the status: "Could not start". What can I do about
this problem? I don't even know of a way to debug this behavior as the
status message is the only information about the problem I get.

This error message usually means that you have entered
incorrect account/password details for the task. Check the
Task Scheduler log file for more information. You will see
it under the Advanced pull-down menu.

Strange, I had no such problems, check (and hope) the event log has
more details on that "Could not start" error. the "Could not start"
error could mean one of several things, most likly to be
authentication failur or file missing.
