Running application

How can I know if an application is running?
I know that is something like .runningAlready(), I tried to used but it
doesn't work.

Is this an app with no UI and on what device? You want to know
programmatically or as a user? Is it yours or some 3rd party app?

If you have PocketPC and writing application for Compact Framework then
it already supports single instance application mode. If you are going
to write application for WindowsCE then you there are many approaches:

* use CreateMutex to ensure that application is already started
* FindWindow with your main window title
