I have a macro that prints letters in dif. lang. based on persons race. The
macro works if I say use "race =" (race equals) but not if I try to say "race
<>" (not equals). I am using Windows 98 and Windows XP. It ran perfect on
Windows 2000

What would race have to do with language? Nationality I can see.

we had room for four letters - nationality did not fit in the space but race
did. Our customer base is largely Mexicans and they do not speak English so
we send them letters in Spanish and since all of our African American and
Caucasion customers speak English we send them a letter in English.

Now that you know we are using race to indicate nationality do you have a
suggestion to my problem?

You're posting in an end user newsgroup, where you're much less likely (if
only because of the traffic volume) to get help with VBA. I would suggest
you post in one of the word.vba NGs, and you do need to post your code if
you want anyone to be able to help.
