running 2000 access database in 2007 access

Is this possible? Since I cannot seem to install office 2000 on vista, can I
at least run the 2000 access database? So far the answer seems to be no?
 
And I meant running 2000 access database in office access 2007. My computer
came with office 2007 and I just deleted it since I could not seem to open
2000 access database. Then I found out that office 2000 would not install on
vista.
