We have 2 people using 1 laptop and we each want to set up our own Outlook
folders, calendars, etc. We already have 2 seperate email accounts, but want
to run 2 seperate Outlook programs on one computer. Can we do this? Can we
share the contacts folder? Thanks....

Several options depending on what OS you have.
If you have W2K or XP, then create a second User account. That will
automatically give that user a complete instance of Outlook which will be
entirely separate from the original. If you have W9x or ME, or don't want to
go down the route of separate users, then create a second profile. (Control
Panel - Mail - show profiles) . You can set Outlook to prompt for a profile
to start up in.

I like this idea...I should have thought of it....Can 2 users share the
contact folder and calendar? I am most interested in sharing the contact
folder....thanks

Yes you can. The easiest method is to create a pst file in a shared folder,
and copy the contacts and calendar into it. Then in each instance of
Outlook, go to File-Open-Outlook Data file and open the shared file.
Warning - you cannot have more than one instance of Outlook accessing the
file at any one time.
