Everytime I startup Windows XP Home Editon I get a message stating Runner
Error--Invalid BackWeb application in "7788971". Does anyone know how to get
rid of this?

Also when I shut down or restart I get the box indicating that some
programs are not responding. The most comom on is "hpoevm08.exe? Appreciate
any help or suggestions.

Hi,

Click start/run, type msconfig and click ok. Go to the startup tab, uncheck
the line that loads backweb, it is an unnecessary application added by many
preinstalled system vendors. You can do the same for hpoevm08.exe, it's a
print manager for an HP printer.
