I think you don't want him to explain it. It's kind of a bad joke, at your
expense. It means wipe the system and start over.

Unfortunately you haven't provided a lot of details, such as what you're
trying to do when this appears. It it as the system starts up, or when
launching a specific program, or...?

The file you mention, "DOCEOC16B1", probably shouldn't be loading at
startup. It may very well be a reference to a virus or malware that has
been removed, except for the registry or startup reference.

If it's happening when you try to run a specific program, the install for
that may be damaged. However, the "DOCEOC16B1" name is suspiciously like
the kind of pseudo-random name that malware would create.

If this happens during startup, lookin msconfig (start, run, msconfig) to
see what is loading.

Don't listen to anything that "Lenny" has said, disregard his posts! He
is a jerk that doesn't know much of anything about Windows. Following
his advice would cause you to lose all your files! Ignore him!

Thank you for the heads up!
The message comes up when I first click on to my desktop.(I have to click
o.k. before i can click on any icons) I thought I did what you said. I went
to: start, then to run, then typed in msconfig and it said: Windows can not
find. Would you mind helping me a little more?

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Click Start, Run, type REGEDIT, click OK. Press the Home key, press F3,
type the name of the file into the search pane. Click "Find Next", and
when located, delete the reference to the file. Press F3 to continue
the search.

You can click File, Export, and save the entry to the Desktop. If you
remove it and there's a problem, double-click the .reg file you exported
to the Desktop and it'll be added to the registry again. You can create
a restore point before editing the registry too.

Make sure you have a backup of the registry before editing it, or at
least, export to the Desktop before deleting.

Do a search for the entry again. This time, when found, look in the
left pane. You'll see an open folder icon. You may see more than one
open, but you're interested in the one that is lowest in the left pane.
It's the "folder" that, if when you click it, you still see the same
entry in the right pane. Click it, then delete it.

Open Windows Help (start, Help and Support) and in the search box, type
"system configuration utility". Once it's returned, in the Overview,
Articles and Tutorials section choose the "system configuration utility".
This will have a link for running msconfig.

All of the entries are also contained in the registry. msconfig is handy
if you're not sure what is loading exactly where, aren't really sure about
making registry changes, don't want to make permanent changes, or just want
to look in one place and see what's loading.
