I keep getting a RUNDLL error it says in the box " error loading winupd.dll
the specified module cannot be found". This pops repeatedly and I am also
having trouble with my internet explorer I think. If i have a window open for
a few mintues and don't type anything I cannot type an address in it. It
isn't my keyboard because I can then go to my word program and type something
and copy and paste it in the non-responding window and it works. Any help
will be greatly apprieciated.

Hi,

It's part of some spyware. Download and run adaware from www.lavasoft.de to
help in removing it and the associated registry entries.

Hi

I had the same problem and posted the same symptom asking for solution
today. I received an answer immediately. The following should solve it:

I use Win XP Home Edition

Recently I had upgraded Windows Messenger 4.7 to Windows Messenger
V5.0. Ever since when I start my pc, I get the following error:

"Error ocurred while reading c:\progra~1\newdot~1\newdot~2.dll. The
module you specified is not found"

Would appreciate if someone can help me how to solve above problem,
thank you.
