rundll error messages

When I log on in Windows XP, I suddenly started getting 2
error messages.

They both have "rundll" in the error title. It says:

Application has fialed to start because Nero.dll was not
found. Re-installing the application may fix this
problem.

Then I get another one that says:

Error loading c:\windows\image.dll The specified module
cannot be found.

How do I get rid of these messages?

Hi Les

What you need to do is scan your registry for these two
files and delete any reference to them. Start - Run and
type regedit press enter. The first thing you should do
is backup the registry just in case something goes
sideways on you. File - Export, give the file a name of
todays date and make sure you select All under Export
Range. The default locationis okay to store the file.
Then do an Edit - Find and type in Nero and click find.
When the item is found right clickit and delete it. Press
F3 to continue searching for this file,delete as you go,
you will get a message telling you that you have reached
the end of the registry. Reboot you computer and see if
you get the same erros. Deleting the one file may get rid
of both errors. If not, repeat the process for the second
file, image.dll.
