RUNDLL error - help!

After Windows has started up I get this error:

"RUNDLL" Error loading C:\WINDOWS\image.dll
The specified module could not be found.

I'm not very technical so any help would be appreciated.
I've also got problems running some other applications,
all mentioning .dll files - mainly when trying to run
games.

Any ideas - thanks. Jim
