I get the following message when I open Internet
Explorer. I'm on version 6. This started with the last
automated update of Windows XP.

Run Time Error
Line 1
Invalid Character

I get the option of debugging or close.

I get this several times when I change windows within a
site.

It doesn't seem to stop my browsing any, but it is real
annoying.

Does anyone know how to get rid of this?

Hello!
open IE> Tools >Internet Options>Advanced> Check Disable
Scipt Debugging >Uncheck Display a notification about every
scipt error >ok
That should fix it, but just in case it doesn't try this...

1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type Regsvr32 urlmon.dll, and then
click OK.
3. When prompted with the DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll
succeeded message, click OK.
