Run Time error 62

Iam running XP Pro when I start my computer I get a box
with MSNVC in left top corner then the message: Runtime
error '62' Input past end of file. I have been told this
is dangerous and will eat at my registry I have tried
numerous things but have been told I may have to
reformat???? Please some one help if possible

A quick Google on msnvc.exe brings up a lot of links to Chinese sites
and references to viruses. I don't know about "eating up your
registry", but you should definitely scan with a current antivirus
using updated definitions. If you are unsure about how to do this, then
take your computer to a good local computer repair shop (not CompUSA or
Best Buy) and have them clean it up for you.
