Whenever I go to rules wizard and click on Run Now button, Run Rules
Now window opens with all my rules but all of them are unchecked, I
have to check them manually everyday when I start my comp and outlook.

I am using MSOL 2002 (10.2627.2625)

Help....

That's how run rules now works. It's for rules you don't want running
constantly.

Do you have the rules turned on? That's the check boxes on the first screen
about Rules.

Yes when I click on Rules->Rules Wizard, I see all the rules set by me
and they all are checked but what happens is, the next day when I come
to office and open outlook, all my mails get into my imap folder on the
server and I have to run rules manually and once this is done, the rest
of the day it works fine.

When I run rules manually, I hit the Run now button but here I have to
check all the rules once again and then click on Run Now. I am
referring to this screen. Can all the rules get checked automatically?

it sounds like outlook is checking email before the rules kick in. If you
don't have the latest updates, install them. it will help to some degree,
but probably not solve the problem completely.

Seems to be normal behavior to me. By default, Run Rules Now assumes you'll
choose the rules you want to run. As far as I can tell, there's no way to
have Outlook choose them all and let you uncheck the ones you don't want to
run.
