Before Vista - you could go to start and choose run to help open/find
programs/places... Where do I do that in Vista since run is no longer there?

To add the Run command to the Start menu:

1. Open Taskbar and Start Menu Properties.
2. Click the Start Menu tab, and then click Customize.
3. In the list of Start menu options, select the Run command check box,
and then click OK. The Run command will be displayed on the right side
of the Start menu.

Note:

You can also access the Run command by pressing Windows logo key +R.

Hi, Lady.

Just type the name of your program into Start Search, the only box there.
It will find your program and run it.

Or, if you like, right-click on the Orb, then Properties, choose Start Menu
Customize, and you can add all sorts of things to the Start menu - including
the Run Command.
