Run .pps when computer is locked

I am using Windows XP in my office and the technology department have
set some kind of security policy that if I am not around for more than
5 minutes, the computer automatically gets locked and I have to unlock
by pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE keys.

Is there any way to run a powerpoint slide show after the computer gets
locked automatically. I don't want to see that ridiculous screen that
says, the computer is in use and is locked.

That's the problem with security measures. If any program or user can override
them at will, they're not very secure.

This has come up before here (for example, with kiosk-type machines that people
want to use to run an unattended show). As I recall, the only way around the
problem was to convince IT that the job can't be done w/o different security
policies.

Perhaps you could get them to set up a different user profile, one that doesn't
get locked out after xx minutes, but that has very few user rights; that way
even if somebody gets access to the machine, they're essentially logged in as
Guest; can't install software/access network etc.

You'd then have to log out and log in under that profile to get your slide show
running nonstop.

I remember of looking a particular screensaver kind of a thing which
looks like an animated dish antenna (not sure if it is a screensaver)
which keeps running if the computer is locked.

Can you shed some light on it? I do not get that when the computer is
locked but few machines I saw had that option.
