Run Command Problems

I entered ipconfig in the run command and the window opens for a second and closes. It does this for all commands. I have it before and never had any problems. Anyone have any ideas?

Ipconfig ought to be run from a console.
START > Run... > Cmd

If you want a GUI like Win9x winipcfg, download wntipcfg.exe from

first Run cmd, then type in "ipconfig" in the cmd window

You need to run commands like that from the command prompt, not the run box.
In the run box, type 'cmd' without the quote, and hit okay. Now, type in
ipconfig or wahtever at the prompt.
