run a script on reboot

How can I run a script (vbs, bat, doesn't matter) when the server reboots
but before logging into it. I have a vbs script that sends an e-mail to me
and want to configure it to send me a notice when the server has
successfully rebooted.

Posted 'as is'. If there are any spelling and/or grammar mistakes, they
were a direct result of my fingers and brain not being synchronized or my
lack of caffeine.
