Run a macro from Powerpoint in a webpage

I am trying to use a Powerpoint slideshow like a Computer Based Trainer
(CBT). I added a macro in Powerpoint to save the user information when
they complete the slideshow. I save the Powerpoint presentation as a
webpage. The macro does not work from a webpage. Does anyone have
any suggestions?

Hi,

Macros are written in Visual Basic for Applications. Web script may be of
Java Script and other types. When you save as a web page, your macro is not
translated into a web script. You will have to script your presentation
separately, or upload the PowerPoint file for download.

PowerPoint macros do not run over the Web or in the Viewer. For your macro to
work, your users will need to have the full version of PowerPoint, and they
will need to download your presentations to their computers. To avoid
confusion, I often package my presentations as Zip files. Of course, that
adds the confusion that the presentations can't be run from a Zipped folder
until they are unZipped.
