Run a DLL as an APP

I get an error message at start up. > Run a DLL as an APP has encountered a
problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. < I have
sent an error report to Microsoft several times. I do not know what is
causing this . Does anyone have any ideas ? Thank you

If this Scenario apply to you then proceed with the solution:
You receive a "Rundll32.exe has encountered a problem" error message, or the
wrong USB device is removed when you try to remove a USB device on a Windows
XP-based computer

Open Run command and type in: rundll32.exe setupapi. InstallHinfSection
DefaultInstall 132 %wind ir%\Inf\ie.inf click [OK]

Also you can look in the event Viewer for any error messages can shed some
lights on the causer in your case, to access the event Viewer do this:
Open a Run Command and type in:
eventvwr.msc click [OK] on the Event Viewer look for Error messages (X)
and double click them to get more Info about them and you can copy and paste
in your next message.
