ruller bar

JERRY

I am having difficulty with measuring the width and heigth of cells. I can't
figure out the formula if I want to set the height to .5 inch and the
width to 1.5 inch. Under View, Ruller bar is checked but greyed out. I can't
get any ruller bar (horizontal or vertical) to come up. I am stumped???

Any held would be appreciated

Is this "ruler" something new in Excel 2007?

Is "Page Layout View" something new in Excel 2007?

Yes, it is. It shows you exactly how the spreadsheets will print, like print
preview. You can work entirely in Page Layout View.

Page Layout is on the Ribbon (cf Page Break View in Xl2003)
I think the ruler is a total figment

Page Layout View is totally new in Excel 2007. It allows you to work with
your sheet, like a document in Word with rulers.
I think the ribbon is so much better than the drill down menus in previous
versions. Everything I had is there, including my custom toolbars and menus.
The ribbons is very intuitive. Great in my humble opinion.

Professor Liengme.

Would you take a look at a worksheet consolidation problem I have with the
consolidated sheet being out of sequence?
Thanks
