Rules won't run automatically, but will manually

I have recently upgraded to Office 2003 and am using it in
cached mode. For the first couple weeks post-upgrade all
my rules ran without a hitch. Then they suddenly quit
working a couple days ago.

The rules will actually run if I use "Run Rules Now" to
run them manually. They just don't run automatically like
they used to. All my rules are very basic, move message
from someone or with specific words in the subject line to
folder. They all work fine when "Run Rules Now" is used,
no errors.

I saw and used the "Upgrade Rules" button shortly after my
rules stopped running automatically to see if that would
fix it, no luck.

We are using Exchange 5.5 SP4, and recently applied a
patch to Exchange that is specific to preventing Exchange
from crashing in the event of Outlook 2003 rules becoming
corrupt

m). It was a couple days after this patch was applied that
my rules quit working, however other people who have
Outlook 2003 have not had any trouble with their rules
running post-patch so I'm certain that the problem is
actually related to the patch.
