Rules problem

Hi I have a slight problem with the rules in Outlook 2003. I have 1 rule
that moves all mail for a particular account to a folder I then have several
other rules to move themail from that folder to certain subfolders eg read
reciepts etc. My prblem is that the first rule works fine all account 1 goes
to the 1 folder but the second rule does not work properly the read reciepts
get copied rather than moved to the read folder why is this?

Thanks

Chris

First, automatic rules work only on the Inbox. They won't work on any other
folder. Second, messages often copy instead of move if you've failed to
include the "stop processing more rules" rule action.

Outlook and Outlook Express are two different applications with different
behaviors. If Outlook Express does the job you want, you should continue to
use it.

Outlook is not a replacement for Outlook Express and it's not a "better"
mail client. Its a different application and while it can act as a mail
client, it also has other functions simply not supported in a mail client.
If you need those functions, then you need Outlook. You can also decide to
use Outlook for those non-mail fuctions you need and continue to use Outlook
Express for mail.
