Rules keep disappearing

Hi all

I have several Rules set up within Outlook so when I receive or send e-mails
to certain colleagues, a copy of them is automatically saved in their
personal folder.

For some reason, every couple of months, some of my rules disappear and I
only realise this when I go to my personal folders to find an e-mail that it
hasn't actually been working for the past few weeks. When I think go into my
Rules to view them and see what's wrong, it's disappeared?

It has done this quite a lot recently and is starting to get frustrating.
Last week, all the rules I had set up on my outgoing mails disappeared and I
had to re-create them.

Has this happened to anybody else and how do I rectify this?

how many rules do you have, what type of email account, and if exchange, do
you open it on other computers?
 
I have approximately 27 rules set up. I am using Outlook 2003, Exchange
Server, and no I don't open them on other computers, just my own.

I also am experiencing this problem and would very much appreciate if anyone
had suggestions. I have about 8 rules set up. Outlook 2002.
