Rules in Outlook 2003

Chuck Traywick

Someone picked up my email address on one of these forums.

I'm trying to figure out how to block spam.

The rules do not seem to work except once.

Is there a technique to applying rules to block spam?

Anyone else victims of SWEN ?

How did others repair this?

Thanks

Chuck

O2003 does not use rules to block spam. You can configure the spam filter by
accessing the menue "actions">"junk-e-mail" (could be slightly different in
your language)

No, but you can get information from MS regarding this worm and Outlook:

Others may use free tools like this one:

Use common words such as Inet, Virus, Patch, MS, etc. in your rules to
filter mail.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to the
Swen virus, all e-mails sent to my actual account will be deleted w/out
reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer
