Rules for Exchange ??

Hi everyone!

I posted this last week, but everybody is out of town for the summer or
something... so I'm sorry I have to repeat it, but I really need your help..!
=)

I have a problem.. I have 4 Exchange accounts in Outlook 2003, and when I
send a mail from one of them it always moves to the Sent Items folder in the
first account (the one on the top). I would like it to move to the Sent Items
folder in its own account, the one which it was sent from...

I thought about Outlook rules, but I think it's not possible when using an
Exchange..
And I couldn't find any options for managing this inside Outlook menu..

THANKS A LOT ! ...and apologize for my English :S

Outlook 2003 should let you create a rule that works on items as they are
sent. Where the sticking point come from is figuring out a decent condition
that catches the items that you want copied to the other sent items
folder(s). If this is the case, you might want to go third party and use
something like http://www.ivasoft.biz/unisent.shtml.

Thank you very much, Neo.

But this is not the problem. I could use the rule that is something like
"Message sent from the specific account.." (in Spanish is something like
this, I dont know how it is in English), and the action would be "Move a copy
to the specific folder..".

Well, that doesn't work for me because I have several Exchange mailboxes
inside one only Exchange account -in Outlook, I mean.
The action couldn't be that one because I dont want to create a copy and
move it to a folder, what I want is the mail sent from a mailbox to go to its
respective "Sent items" folder... in its own mailbox.

Once again: sorry for my English...

i.e. :

1- (e-mail address removed) (main mailbox)
2- (e-mail address removed)

----> when I open a mail in Peter's mailbox and reply, that sent item moves
to John's "Sent items" folder.
--- > I need those sent items to move to Peter's "Sent items" folder.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

Outlook messages aren't really sent from a mailbox, they're sent from an
account and, as you say, you have only one account. That account has only one
Sent Items folder - the one in your delivery location. A rule (or VBA code
you supply yourself) is about the only way to redirect outgoing messages. If
you disable the option to save sent messages in your Sent Items folder, the
rule would be a move and not a copy. You could then supply a catch-all
outgoing rule that moves the outgoing message to your own Sent Items folder if
it wasn't moved by any preceeding rule, thus emulating the option to save sent
items.
Once again: sorry for my English...

I'm not sending you away, but you could always ask in
microsoft.public.es.outlook where Spanish is the posting language, if you
prefer writing in that language.

Thank you very much!

I didn't think about that possible way..

About my language, I really would like to ask in spanish forums but the
English language forums are always so much more active, that's why.

About the outgoing rule, I can't figure out how I could make it because that
kind of rules are something like "Move the mail sent from the specific
account" and the only option in "account" is "Microsoft Exchange" : I can't
choose (e-mail address removed) or (e-mail address removed).

Thank you very much, I really appreciate your help.

Roady, thank you for your help..
seems like I'm not the first with this problem.. =)

But.. I'm a technician in a huge company and I'm not able to install apps,
that's the reason why I need to do it using rules or settings.

You understood my problem. Thank you so much.
