Rule doesn't reply to the Reply-To address

I get incoming emails from an outside vendor who supplies leads. The email
is "From" this vendor, but the lead's email is specified as the "Reply-To:"
address. When I hit reply on these messages, I can send an email to the lead.

I set up a rule to auto-reply to these messages, but when the rule runs, the
template message is sent to the vendor specified in the "From" field, not the
lead specified in the "Reply-To:" field. Is there anyway I can have these
auto replies actually sent to the person who is supposed to be replied to
(i.e. the lead)?

I don't know why, but this is normal, expected behavior going back to the first version of Outlook.

Whether there's a solution depends on your mail server and Outlook version and tolerance for writing your own VBA code.
