hi,

is it possible, to copy the first line of a richtext-memo per VBA to
another richtext-memo.
I am using the rtf2 from Stephen Lebans and A97.

Thank you

Christof

It is with the next release which supports all of the standard Selxxx
props. I start vacation next week and I will finally have the time to
finish testing and post this newest version.
You are trying to do this programmatically instead of manually right?
If you need this functionality immediately my control does expose its
hWnd so you could easily use SendMEssage to extract the desired line.

Hi Stehen,

thank you very much for your prompt answer. Meanwhile I could also see
the code from your A2K-example-mdb to solve the problem with autosizing
in A97-reports. That makes me happy.
Now I want solve another problem:
Your ocx has no paging. Therefore I want to copy the formatted text
linewise into a dummy-rtf-box up to a secret height. Then I want to copy
this text into other rtf-memo-fields. One box per page whith an
1:n-relation. The memo of the rtf-box (1) can have several other memos
(n) and the problem of the heightlimit in report would be solved. In
combination with searching within the memo it could also be possible, to
set manual a secret marker (like <change of page> in red color) in the
text to sign a manual pagechange.

Thank you

so long

Christof
