hi,

i´m using A97 an there is an old problem. If I use the RTF2 control by
Stephen Lebans, I cannot autosize in reports (autosizing of the RTF2
control is supported for A2K or higher).
Does anybody knows, whether there is a soloution avaible? I would like
to use this control, but autosizing is very important for me. Is there a
solution in future? Does anybody have experience with this problem?

thanks

hi Stephen,

thank you very much for your tip. I tried this method (exactly), you
described, but it did not function. I don´t know why. On my system
there´s rtf2controlOCXonly.zip installed and I´m using Win98SE and A97.
Do you have an example.mdb in which this method runs? I ask you because
I think that several users have this problem.

hi Stephen,

I forgot the reason, why the method don´t function in my mdb.
A97 don´t understand the code:
Me!ActiveXStr.Height = Me.ActiveXStr!HeightOfText
The method HeightOfText is one by FMS, where the solution
is described. Do you think, there´s another possibility to get the
heigt of the text? I think, that´s the problem I have.

thank you very much

Christof how about taking a look at the code behind the A2K report. It
shows you which properties expose the required WIdth and Height of the
control.

hi stephen,

your last answer does not appear in my newsreader:

"Christof how about taking a look at the code behind the A2K report. It
shows you which properties expose the required WIdth and Height of the
control."

I found it only by google. Don´t know, why this happens.
The problem is, that I don´t have A2K: Therefore I cannot read the
structure.

Thank you very much.
