Hello Jared,

There are several ways

1) using RTF directly (see specification http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...28-7071-4979-8a67-3cffcb0c2524&displaylang=en)
2) Using Visual Studio Tools for the Microsoft Office (http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/office/officetools.aspx)
3) using Office Primary Interop Assemblies (PIA)
