RRAS vpn users can't see shares

We have Routing and Remote Access Server setup for vpn access. When users
are on the road they connect to the vpn with notebooks that are domain
members.

Our main file server is named VERNE. We have an A record in DNS for FILE
that points to the same IP. When a user is connected via vpn and types
\\VERNE they only see 1 share listed. When they connect using \\FILE they
see ALL of the shares on that server.

Any ideas on what's happening? If more info is needed, let me know.

Hey,

It sounds like WINS problems. Have you setup a WINS server? Are your servers
and computers WINS clients? If they aren't, can you give it a try?
