Everything was working just fine. Then I upgraded to Small Business
Server 2003 and I get this message when I the RRAS service is trying to
start.

Event Type: Error
Event Source: RemoteAccess
Event Category: None
Event ID: 20152
Date: 5/4/2004
Time: 12:13:06 PM
User: N/A
Computer: DRIP
Description:
The currently configured authentication provider failed to load and
initialize successfully. The parameter is incorrect.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
Data:
0000: 57 00 00 00 W...

Then after that I get a message from the Service Control Manager

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7024
Date: 5/4/2004
Time: 12:13:08 PM
User: N/A
Computer: DRIP
Description:
The Routing and Remote Access service terminated with service-specific
error 87 (0x57).

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

Goes anyone have any idea what is going on here. These event ID's are
not documented in the KB other than vague references to a bulk list of
RRAS error codes.

(1) If you configured RADIUS authentication:

If Radius authentication is configured by mistake, you can reconfigure RRAS
for Windows Authentication using Server
a. Snap-in.

b. See whether the radius server name is spelled correctly, server is
up and reachable.

(2) If configured for Windows Authentication:

Check the local machine's event viewer for IAS specific events

Try this out and let me know more info if it failed.
