RPC Terminated.

I know someone that gets on the Internet via Earthlink, then a minute or so
later gets the following message:

NT Authority System: remote procedure call terminated.

Then she is kicked off.

There are alot of svchost.exe errors in the eventviewer during this time to.

Any ideas, or can we reduce some security settings to test?

DISCONNECT the subject computer from any network IMMEDIATELY.
VERY IMPORTANT to repair, closing ports is NOT enough.
Download the patch from the Windows Catalog.
